The soon to be home buyer will take care of all maintenance unless it's a major repair (such as new roof, or defective furnace). And we will make sure your property cash flows.
All you have to do is provide homeowner property insurance, pay your mortgage on time every month, pay your taxes on the property and be an absentee landlord.
If Renting to Own your Home interests you, there are two steps to complete.
Step 1: Fill out Property Questionnaire form. This form will allow us to gauge your property and see if it qualifies for our Rent to Own program. The form consists of questions such as, type of house, how many bathrooms, address of the house, flooring type, how much rent is needed, etc. We can e-mail the form to you, by sending an e-mail to scottdillingham@renttoownsarnia.com. Step 2: Walk through of property. If step 1 produces a house that qualifies for our Rent to Own program, we will want to walk through the property. We will be looking at the layout of the property, condition of the property, general neighborhood of the property, etc. We will also discuss the further benefits of our Rent to Own program, potential sale price of the home, determine how much repair may be needed, look at property management costs (which you do not pay if the home doesn't sell) and any extra details or questions that may arise.
